In our imagination we yearn to be ideal individuals in an ideal society, however upon reflection perhaps we should temper our idealism with rational thinking to move toward a conception of ourselves and society that is both idealistic and realistic. We are faced with some unsettling political realities today that call into question many of our notions of what should be and what is. Rational Idealism may offer answers.

Our member-led group discussions represent the heart and soul of our philosophical community. Our speaker begins with a thoughtful presentation on a significant topic designed to stimulate open-ended and engaging conversations that are both respectful and considerate.
